A Cabinets Toe Kick for ADA Compliance in Hospitals, Restaurants, Schools, Hotels and More
In any public facility, cabinets must have a toe kick that complies with the American Disability Act by allowing wheelchair users access to the counter above. The easiest way to do this is by attaching the toe kick to the cabinet, so it swings out of the way when the door is open. This creates a free space for the wheelchair user’s legs when he or she rolls up to the counter.
Sunbelt Displays makes a toe kick for cabinets that allows for this easy access; the PF Toe Kick. We’ve designed it for affordability and total convenience, so compliance doesn’t have to add loads of extra time and money to your build out. Each toe kick can be adjusted ¼” in any direction to perfectly fit any door gaps and clear any floor coverings. It can also be trimmed up to 6 inches for further customization.
Made of highly durable polystyrene, the PF Toe Kick is lightweight, waterproof and ready to stand up to the wear and tear of the busiest hospital or school. It’s sold in sets – one left and one right – and comes with truss head screws and easy installation instructions, so it’s ready for immediate use.
